The War Remnants Museum is a great example of how the winners get to write history. Formerly called the American War Crimes Museum ... you get the idea. The courtyard is filled with Vietnam War era military equipment, including tanks, airplanes, howitzers, mortars, a Huey helicopter and other gear. The exhibit inside is where it got interesting ... photos of Agent Orange victims, photos of civilians hurt by the war. Interestingly all the photos of people being interrogated were called 'farmers', never Viet Cong.
In fact, our guide was quick to point out that they called the Viet Cong 'guerrillas' -- not Viet Cong.
The museum also had an exhibit of the 'tiger cages' used by the South Vietnamese to imprison their enemies.
